Hey, I'm Claire Gutherman! I am a 22 year old artist and animator based in Philadelphia, PA. I have been creating artwork all my life.
I am an alumni of Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. I majored in Animation and Visual Effects and graduated Magna Cum Laude in June 2026. I love preproduction for animation and hope to work in an art department for animated film or television! I love creativity, storytelling, and making others laugh through my work.
In college, I worked in the Video Department for Drexel Athletics, where I animated, edited, and filmed content for live sports broadcasts. My motion graphics have aired on NBC Sports Philly, FloCollege, and our Videoboard during games. In addition to working in live broadcast, I served as president of the DAC Pack, Drexel Basketball's student section. I managed the social media accounts and made vlogs, edits, and graphics to increase student interest in our basketball program.
I have four complete years of generalist experience in 3D. I'm proficient in Unreal Engine, Maya, Adobe Suite, Syntheyes, and Nuke. When I'm not animating or watching basketball, I love to make traditional gouache and acrylic paintings.
