A collection of my gouache, acrylic, and digital paintings.

"Foot Gross-up": This 16x9 acrylic painting is the punchline of my senior thesis animation, Alien Vacation. It was scanned in an appeared digitally in the short film. It is inspired by classic cartoon gross-ups seen in Spongebob and Ren and Stimpy.

Postcard themed paintings for my senior thesis, Alien Vacation. This might not be a snapshot of the emperor's happiest vacation, but they sure are funny to look at! These paintings are 4x6 acrylic on paper which were scanned and appeared digitally as textures in the animation.

Fired Employees of the Emperor: These are 16 3x4 gouache and acrylic paintings that were scanned and appeared as textures in my senior project. The goal was to have a wall of pictures of aliens that were employed by the emperor. This wall was inspired by the Spongebob episode Employee of the Month. In my short, they have all been fired, so their faces are crossed out. I focused on wacky designs, color, and silhouette.

Title Card and "Employee Eval" traditional acrylic paintings for Alien Vacation. The title card is inspired by the design of postcard letters featuring Philly staples. Both pieces were scanned in and appeared digitally in our short.

Sky background for Alien Vacation. This was a 24 x 18 acrylic painting that was used as the outer space environment. This painting was inspired by painted backgrounds in classic cartoons.
